Job Title:  Full Stack Developer

Location: Washington DC

Job Summary:

Collaborative Shared Technologies is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team in Washington DC. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web applications and solutions. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect scalable solutions, and ensure high-quality implementation. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be essential in delivering robust, user-friendly, and performant applications. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications

• Design and develop scalable and responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java)

• Build and maintain APIs and web services to support seamless data integration and communication between the front-end and back-end systems

• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices

• Optimize application performance and enhance user experience through efficient coding practices, caching strategies, and responsive design

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces

• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in full stack development

• Contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong command of both front-end and back-end technologies

• Proficiency in front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js, and expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services

• Strong database skills, including proficiency in SQL and knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies

• Solid understanding of software development principles, best practices, and design patterns

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
